In an old psychiatric ward at Dromokaition, Athens, the artwork Become the seed features displaced arrangements of objects – bones, rocks, forgotten items and photographs, an interplay on the tangible presence and simultaneous absence of the human body. A gestural painting is suspended from the ceiling and at its centre, a seed emerges; a symbol of transition beyond the physical.
