Baby, who will hold me when I fall loose?

2022 Acrylics and sprays on canvas, found metal structures and chains Exhibition view at Fortress Hohensalzburg, Austria.

In Baby, who will hold me when I fall loose? I looked at how paintings connect with other objects and space. I experimented with what happens when the canvas isn't stretched, testing how its shape changes instead of staying flat, giving the painting both a sculptural and a painterly dimension. The painting sits in the middle of the room, held up by two metal structures and chains, creating a mix of soft and rough, straight and curvy materials interacting with each other.
